Holistic Pet Diets

The ideal diet for dogs would consist of about 50% grains, such as rice, oatmeal, barley and corn. The protein portion should be about 25%. If the protein portion is meat that is all natural, it can generally be fed to the pet raw. Most pet owners prefer to cook it however, and in this case, boiled is always best.
